Uncategorisable Victor Scott

One name that seems to be popping up a lot at the moment is Victor Scott. His 'Gotta Go' is on my February compilation CD (see below) and is top of the poll of the best tracks on the first Take Your Medicine podcast, beating even the gorgeous 'Jimmy Down the Well' by Monkey Swallows the Universe by a country mile.

His music is impossible to categorise, each track seems to have a different style, from 60s-retro sound collage, to lo-fi indie, to louche disco groove, but it's all good.

I'm grateful to Victor for giving us access to an unreleased track, Fortune Favours the Brave, plus a couple of tracks from his debut album.
